AquaClear 20 Powerhead

The AquaClear 20 Powerhead is a versatile pump designed to deliver exceptional performance across a range of aquarium applications. Ideal for smaller tanks, this powerhead efficiently drives undergravel filters, circulates and aerates water, and can be paired with filtration accessories like the AquaClear Quick Filter to maintain crystal clear water. The Powerhead 20 includes a venturi aeration valve, which is crucial for raising oxygen levels, particularly when water temperature increases, fish population grows, or during disease treatments. Additionally, it can be connected to operate protein skimmers, which are essential for most marine aquariums.

This powerhead is particularly valuable in smaller reef aquariums where it can be discreetly hidden while still providing beneficial currents. Freshwater aquariums also benefit from the additional currents it generates. The AquaClear 20 Powerhead features a compact, energy-efficient design with a fully submersible motor unit insulated in epoxy resin. It includes adjustable flow control, a venturi feature for enhanced aeration, and a vertical/horizontal output diverter for flexible water flow management. Installation is made easy with convenient suction cups, and an output hose adapter allows for attachment to protein skimmers, spray bars, and other accessories. With a maximum flow rate of 480 LPH (127 U.S. gph), this powerhead is recommended for aquariums up to 80 liters (20 U.S. gallons).
