Ludwigia Cuba

Ludwigia Cuba is a striking aquatic plant known for its vibrant color gradient, transitioning from green at the base to bright yellow and deep red towards the crown. The narrow, wavy leaves grow in opposite pairs along the stem, creating a dramatic visual contrast in any aquarium. This plant thrives under medium to high light and benefits from consistent micronutrient dosing, especially with high iron content, to enhance its red tones.

For optimal growth, CO2 injection is recommended, although not mandatory. Ludwigia Cuba can be grown both submerged and emersed, making it adaptable to various aquatic setups. Propagation is straightforward by taking cuttings from the main stem and replanting them in the substrate. This fast-growing plant can reach heights of 15 to 20 inches, making it an excellent choice for midground to background placement in larger aquariums.
