Seachem Stress Guard

Seachem StressGuard™ is a premier product designed to reduce stress and ammonia toxicity for fish during handling or transportation. It provides essential slime coat protection by binding to exposed proteins in wounds, which promotes healing and helps prevent primary and secondary infections. StressGuard™ is compatible with all medications, except those containing copper, and does not interfere with Purigen® or HyperSorb™ regeneration. Unlike some other slime coat products, it does not coat resins or clog filtration systems.

The effectiveness of StressGuard™ lies in its unique protein-active colloids, which target wounds and abrasions directly. These colloids attach to exposed proteins, acting as a liquid bandage and delivering disinfectant to the affected areas. StressGuard™ maintains a neutral pH of 7.0, ensuring it does not alter the aquarium's pH, even when used in large quantities. This makes it a safe and reliable choice for both marine and freshwater environments.
