Seachem Tidal 110

The Seachem Tidal 110 filter is designed for exceptional filtration in aquariums up to 110 US gallons (400 Liters). It features ventilation slots and aeration grooves to ensure that water returned to the tank is fully oxygenated, enhancing gas exchange during filtration. The filter operates on a bottom-to-top flow system, where water is pushed up into the basket, ensuring thorough contact with all filter media and preventing bypass. A maintenance alert system signals when the filter needs cleaning by redirecting water to a side outlet, raising a visible alert. The Tidal 110 includes a surface skimmer to capture floating debris and oils, and an adjustable telescoping intake pipe allows water to be drawn from any level. Flow regulation is controlled by a dial on the front of the filter, and intake flow can be adjusted between the surface skimmer and the underwater intake. Unlike many filters, it does not use cartridges; instead, it has a large basket for custom media configurations, starting with Seachem's Matrix™ bio-media. The filter’s self-priming pump eliminates the need for manual siphoning, while its self-cleaning impeller and corrosion-resistant components are suited for both saltwater and freshwater use.
